Community Ramadan Announcements
We are pleased to announce that community-wide iftar dinners will be held every Saturday during Ramadan, starting March 8. Due to space and weather constraints, attendance will be limited to 200 people per week on a first-come, first-served basis via registration through a Google form to be posted on the website and on the ICB announcement page on WhatsApp.
In previous years, we were able to accommodate more people using the covered outdoor parking space of the masjid. However, with the colder weather, the iftars will be held indoors, and we must adhere to city and fire safety codes. Once the 200-person limit is reached, registration will close for that week.
Important Notes:
- Pre-registration is required each week. Once capacity is reached, google form will close
- While registration is open to all, once approved for a particular week, we ask everyone to observe an honor code and not register for multiple iftars to allow others in the community a chance to attend
- This is NOT a potluck, please do not bring food. Iftar meals will be provided
- A $10 donation per person is appreciated (but not required) to help cover expenses related to Eid and Ramadan activities. Every contribution helps sustain these gatherings

- Order and cooperation are essential. If registration guidelines are not followed, leading to problems or issues, the Saturday iftars will be discontinued
- If your community group would like to sponsor an iftar or if you have any questions, please contact ec@boisemuslims.org.
Youth Iftar Announcements
We are hosting Youth Iftars for boys and girls ages 10-25 (with separate dining areas) on March 7th and March 21st. Each event will feature a talk or activity before Iftar.
- Start Time: 5:00 PM (tentatively 4:30 PM on March 21st for the planned activity)
- Format: Potluck-style—parents and volunteers are encouraged to bring food
- Drop-off: Parents can drop off food at the same time as their children or a little before iftar
- Pick-up: At Isha time (parents are expected to leave after drop-off, as this is a youth-only event)
- Supervision: Volunteers will serve as chaperones
- Attendance: While there is no strict capacity limit, RSVPs are required, and parents must sign in any child under 16 at drop-off
- Additionally, the Muslimah Iftar (for girls ages 10-25) will take place on March 14 and March 28
- Details will be posted as we get closer to the events
Eid & Ramadan Fundraising Campaign
To ensure successful Eid and Ramadan activities, including securing the Ford Center for Salat-ul-Eid, we are seeking to raise $10,000. We need the community’s financial support to make this possible.
You can donate at the masjid or online at our website: Donation – category “Eid and Ramadan Activities.” Every contribution counts!
May Allah bless our community during this sacred month!
Zakat al-Fitr
The Zakat al-Fitr for this year is $15 per person . Please ensure this obligation is fulfilled early, well before Eid to assist those in need.
