In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Congratulations ! Praise is to Allah who has guided you to Islam, the path to success in this life and the hereafter

ICB welcomes new sisters and brothers in Islam and strives to support them in becoming strong and knowledgeable members of the community. ICB endeavors to ensure that they receive sound and correct knowledge of Islam so that they can make a positive contribution to the Islamic faith and the community.

The path to Islam looks different for each individual but each and every path requires study, deliberation, and practice. Your sincere effort and a strong faith in Allah will lead you to your eventual goal of “Imaan and Taqwa- Faith and Piety” and ICB will be there to help and support you all the way.

The Shahada is the Muslim declaration of belief in the oneness of Allah and acceptance of Muhammad as Allah’s prophet.

لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله (lā ʾilāha ʾillallāh, Muḥammad rasūlu-llāh (Arabic) there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger (English)

A sincere recitation of the Shahada is required for a person to become a Muslim. The Shahada is the first of the five pillars of Islam. When a person becomes a Muslim they enter the community of Muslims, regardless of their race or background.
