Community Potluck
The community at Islamic Center of Boise is very diverse. People come from varied countries and backgrounds. We take pride in our distinctness – be it food, dress, language, or custom.
Potluck is a unique community gathering experience that symbolically reinforces the idea of sharing, as each guest brings food to share with the group. Sharing a meal helps us connect with each other, build new friendship and understand different perspective.
Due to dietary restrictions and food allergies, ICB requests guests to label their dishes such as halal, kosher, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, non-dairy, and nut-free.
When: The potluck is held every last Saturday of the month
Time: Dinner starts after Maghrib prayer
Cleanup: Please assist in cleanup. Participants are responsible for taking their home containers, as well as washing their own dishes and/or utensils.
If there is a cancellation, notice will be posted on the ICB website
R.S.V.P: If you are interested in attending, please use the Community Potluck Form to let us know what you can bring and how many people will be attending
